The math pathways site provides many rigorous and collaborative math activities for a variety of classes. The activities are ideal for turning math classrooms into sense-making spaces where marginalized students can thrive.

This article taught me how important it is to avoid perpetuating stereotypes that negatively target marginalized students (e.g., Latinx and Black students are inferior in math) by checking my own biases and providing students with support in and out of the classroom.

Aditya Adiredja curates this site to highlight how important it is for teachers (and researchers) to view marginalized students from an anti-deficit perspective by honoring their strengths rather than perceptions of their “weaknesses.”
