Upload video or audio to My Media

Learn how to upload video or audio to My Media for storage and to use in courses.

1. From the MediaSpace homepage (https://media.pdx.edu), click Add New > Media Upload.
2. Check the box to agree to the PSU terms of service and copyright policy.
3. Click + Choose a file to upload.
4. Select the file you want to upload from your computer.
5. Once the upload completes, enter a Name for the video.
6. Enter a brief Description as needed.
7. Enter Tags as needed.
8. Choose a Privacy setting. (If you want to share your video using a link, set the privacy to Unlisted.)
9. Click Save.
10. Click Go To Media, and verify that your test video plays.

Note: Videos that you have created and which are used in courses for more than one term should be captioned. Request media captioning through OAI.
